Can you prescribe Zepbound or Wegovy?
Yes, when clinically appropriate. Dr. Robak reviews your history and safety during your visit and determines whether medication is right for you. No prescription is guaranteed. If appropriate, it is sent that day to the licensed retail pharmacy you choose.
Is medication included in the $299?
No. The $299 includes your physician visit, written plan, and 14 days of messaging. Medication is paid separately to your pharmacy. Read about medication costs.
Can I use my insurance?
Visit and membership fees are paid directly to the practice and are not billed to insurance. Medication may be covered: when a prescription is appropriate, we pursue coverage and prior authorization where applicable, and manufacturer self-pay programs where it is not. Approval is never guaranteed.
Do I have to join a membership?
No membership is required for your first visit. You leave with your written plan whether or not you continue. Weight loss medication requires ongoing care, which, in our practice, requires a membership to deliver the best standard of care to you. The monthly plan can be cancelled anytime.
Who can book a visit?
Adults 18 and older who live in South Carolina. Visits are by video. The initial questions help determine whether you qualify to book; treatment decisions happen with the physician during your visit.
